Yes! The advanced Learning Management System tracks your progress on every topic, which you can check and monitor actively in your profile. Upon finishing the modules, you will be awarded with a certificate that marks your completion.
Modules 1&2 will be available on the APP within the first week of launch, closely followed by module 3. Modules 4 and 5 shall be made available in the following months.
4 months into the launch, all modules shall be completely accessible.
There is also the Case Discussion Series which is a unique feature on the APP, and additional case discussions are subsequently added on a scheduled basis.The advantage of having the learning done digitally is that you can do it at your own convenience and once completed, the modules can always be revisited for future references.
The D.O.D. Course offered on Smart Dentist is crafted purely as an online course to make it accessible and affordable while being engaging. By the nature of it being digital, there is no option to conduct traditional hands-on courses on Smart Dentist.
However, there are video tutorial guides made available to enhance the learning of some of these techniques and more will be added onto the platform over time. These tutorials can be used to practice on your own; at your own time and convenience.The Smart Dentist Premium subscription is not a one-time payment. It’s a recurring subscription, available on a monthly (RM 19/month) or yearly (RM 198/year) basis.
As long as your subscription is active, you'll continue to have access to all Premium features, including expert-led courses and discounted mentorship submissions.

The Mentorship Feature is systematically designed to be addressed by a panel of orthodontists and with the aid of the propriety tools built into the Smart Dentist Mentorship Response System. The number of orthodontists on the panel is dynamic and can be scaled to handle demand and load.
Smart Dentist is a digital Learning and Mentorship platform designed to make learning accessible, affordable and effective. It does not in any way constitute to specialist qualifications or to be registered on the National Specialist Register. Smart Dentist aims to provide dentists with the knowledge and guidance critical to understanding basic principles required to treat orthodontic patients.
The mentorship feature will allow you to practice your examination and diagnosis techniques and submit it to our panel of orthodontists. Our orthodontists will generate a systematic report with the aid of the propriety tools built into the Smart Dentist Mentorship Response System on the ideal treatment for a given case. Learn how a qualified orthodontist would apply orthodontic principles and techniques to treat a case that you submit. This unique feature is designed to fill in the gaps that exists in online teaching by acting as a Problem Based Learning (PBL) tool.
The application will be available on the Apple Play Store starting from the 30th July 2021.
The feature will be made available for Android users by the 15th of August 2021.
For Apple users, payments are made via the Apple App Store.
To become a Verified Pro Dentist, follow these steps:

Go to My Account and navigate to My Profile.

Under the Professional Details section, click on Edit.

Upload your APC (Annual Practicing Certificate) either as a picture or PDF file.

Once uploaded, you will be marked as a Verified Pro Dentist.
Please note, our admin team conducts periodic audits to ensure all APC documents remain valid.

You can upgrade or renew your subscription easily through the Smart Dentist app by following these steps:

In the app, locate the article titled "Upgrading or Renewing Your Subscription". Click on the blue URL link at the top of the article—this will automatically copy the link.

Open your web browser and paste the copied URL into the address bar. This will direct you to the subscription page.

On the payment page, your email (which is your Smart Dentist username) will already be pre-filled. Simply enter your payment details to complete your upgrade or renewal.
Once completed, your new subscription status will update instantly. To verify, go to "My Account" in the app, where you’ll see your updated plan, such as "Dentist Premium Plan", under your profile.
We process payments through a secure external platform, allowing for cost savings, which we pass on to our users.
